Lunar Digital and Asanti Data Centres have formed a strategic joint venture to accelerate the development of AI-ready digital infrastructure across the UK.
The partnership combines Lunar Digital’s experienced management team, highly connected infrastructure expertise, and customer-centric operating model with Asanti’s portfolio of six regional data centres. Lunar also brings its established connectivity-dense data centres in Manchester, a key interconnection hub supporting high-performance and AI workloads.
Under the joint venture, Lunar Digital’s leadership team will assume operational management of the Asanti platform, applying its expertise in building and operating AI-optimised data centres and delivering infrastructure designed for modern compute demands.
Asanti’s facilities extend Lunar’s geographic reach into locations where the company previously had no presence, providing immediate scale and enabling the deployment of inference edge data centres that bring AI compute closer to users and reduce latency for next-generation applications.
Together, the businesses will create a stronger national platform capable of supporting the growing demand for high-performance, AI-driven digital infrastructure while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and customer service.
